| We love being in Mars. The name alone is fun and we don't think there are many towns with the same name. What was once a farming community about 20 miles north of Pittsburgh, PA. Now is an ever-changing mix of rural charm and new growth with a steady influx of new families to the area. |

At the turn of the Millennium ( the year 2000), after the dissatisfaction with her career in Sales and Marketing, Janet Pagniello (our Founder), decided to follow her bliss, baking that is. She has been baking since she could follow a recipe. In fact many of our items are made from the family recipes!
We came up with the name "Cookie Queen" because we thought it was a cute play on words. We realized there are many cookies queens out there but we're incorporated, our name is registered, and as far as the US Government goes, we are the official one. That's good enough for us. |
